Hydrangeas

It’s been fantastic to have a break over Christmas and New Years and to explore new places. Hydrangeas (detail pictured above) is made from foliage in a relative’s garden and will be used for a greeting card. The vibrant blue coloured Hydrangea flowers can be found in many New Zealand gardens at this time of year. This picture includes prints from Hydrangea leaves and flowers, Pohutukawa leaves, Rose leaves, Alyssum blooms and a type of small ground cover (the green leaves) that I have yet to identify. I’m looking forward to doing more artwork inspired by gardens in 2017.
